Weird Christian? Check. Weird Answers? Check. Answers from the Bible? Check. This blog is meant as a resource to answer questions Christians may have (or lack discernment on), but can't get the answers to in Church, and possibly give Biblical viewpoints on the same issues to the unsaved. If I contradict the Bible, go with what the Bible says, and please let me know where I am wrong, and why. I won't learn otherwise. May God's Holy Spirit lead you to Truth!

Tying up Loose ends
However you got here, thank you. I am humbled that you would visit, and my prayer is that if you are a believer, you will grow closer to Christ and find answers that will help you in your walk with Him. If you are not a believer, my hope is that the Lord will bring you to Him, if not through me, then through some other means.
Please feel free to drop comments as I do read them when I see them. Please let me know if I am off on the use of scripture, or venturing into territory that is unBiblical. If you have questions, or other topics, please just leave a comment anywhere. So far the Lord has blessed me with alot of stuff to write about and people are finding it, so at least I hope ya'll are getting something out of this.
I will also be going back and editing old posts, so please check back at topics you found interesting. My testimony (which is way long) and the qigong blog have been updated. Please check the archives if you are interested in reading those. I will hopefully be going into the following related topics: Christian Yoga, Accupuncture, Tai Chi, and a wherever else the Lord leads.
Moving on, I was thinking to wrap up final thoughts on Betty Andreasson, but I guess I don't really have much else to say. I think at the moment I've said my piece on her experience. I have a ton of questions for her and her family, and I had tried to get in touch with Becky Andreasson, and my prayers are with her, but I have been unsuccessful. So for the moment, I will consider this poor lady's experiences and abduction case as closed.
Take care.
The Shroud of the Darkside has fallen: Betty Andreasson part 7
"Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God, and all the angels and authorities and powers are bowing before him. "
That being knew about Jesus, and that he was subject to Him.
Next, we know also that the phoenix bird disintegrated when Betty asked Jesus for help, and the phoenix bird has many dubious links to pagan deities, this this also proves that Betty was at the hands of prinicpalities and powers for they had to yield to Jesus Christ and His authority.
So, moving to chapter 9, Betty's researchers poke at her for more information about her "alien" abduction. They are completely deluded that these beings are from outerspace, EBE's and are fully negligent as to what they are really dealing with.
Page 128 - 132 - The UFO investigators ask Betty what was in the Blue Book that Quazgaa gave her, and they ask if Q or Joohop (one of the other aliens) had any predictions for the future. (Jeremiah 29:8 - 14 http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Jer&c=29&t=NLT#8) and (http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Isa&c=8&t=NLT#19)
Isaiah 8:19 - 20:
So why are you trying to find out the future by consulting mediums and psychics? Do not listen to their whisperings and mutterings. Can the living find out the future from the dead? Why not ask your God?
"Check their predictions against my testimony," says the LORD. "If their predictions are different from mine, it is because there is no light or truth in them.
So, they ask Betty what those are, and what will happen to earth, and they marvel because Betty becomes contorted and looks as though she was fighting against something trying to control her. That's demonic posession and/or channelling! But there's more. Betty (acting as a channel) says that the beings are in control, and that they are in the heavens and that they have powers. Now, that is interesting.
Check that against Ephesians 6:12
For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.
Betty's channeling continues despite her struggle and she rattles of in another laguage. This smacks of the demonic. Her investigators pester her for more information, technical formulas, star infomration, and things that one would expect to learn from a real ET. Page 132 ends with a typical "man's greed is making him destroy himself speech." Many ET and "higher being" speeches go that route.
Page 133 - 137 - Betty speaks in a weird tongue again, and the beings say through her that there is power in everything around us. Probably this is a "chi" sort of thing, or the "universal force" kind of thing. The energy in everything that's in the New Age. A bombshell is dropped again in a major way on page 134. The investigators ask Betty, not the beings, what the truth is. She emphasizes that Jesus Christ is the truth! And, that He was the only answer for humanity.
So, why did the entities allow her to say this? Did God lead her to say it? Was this a last chance for the investigators to find the key to the whole UFO enigma?
We will never know, as the investigators through this away and went right back to asking the beings questions. The beings insisted to seek things spiritually and that doors would be opened and that doors had been left open for people. Page 137 and 138 it's revealed that the beings can travel in and through the earth. What's in the earth? More than likely, the earth is filled with liquid hot magma, and who do we know that used to walk through "the hot stones of fire?" aka, Magma? Satan.
Ezekiel 28:14
I ordained and anointed you as the mighty angelic guardian. [fn] You had access to the holy mountain of God and walked among the stones of fire.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Eze&c=28&t=NLT#14
(Now that passage refers to the king of Tyre, but think about it. Would a mortal man have been in Eden? Or how about being described as an angelic guardian?)
Next, also consider this. The Bible describes that there are beings under the earth. Humanity's ability to be under the earth is quite limited.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=under+the+earth&t=NLT&sf=5)
So, these beings' ability to be under the earth, presumably with magma, etc hints at a demonic origin.
Page 138 - Interestingly, Betty is asked how many alien races are visiting earth. The number now is "who knows" depending on who you ask, but the beings said through Betty that there were 70 different races. This is strikingly familiar with Michael Heiser's work on the divine council, where he points out that there were 70 beings who were basically in charge of the nations. (Ie, principalities and powers) http://www.thedivinecouncil.com/. This is a fascinating study, and I encourage you to check it out.
Much of the discussion is a back and forth, going in circles kind of fare. Typical for New Age/channelled information.
Chapter 10 takes a look at the blue book that was given to Betty. The book has a number of unusual qualities, but it was taken away after Betty had read it for a while. Betty asked God and Jesus to show her about the book, but it's not clear what happened from there. Words came to her, but we're not told what those words were. Betty's daughter Becky also touched the book, and unfortunately Becky is well trenched into the New Age and has a number of experiences like Betty's.
Betty then begins channelling another entity, and he seems rather shy. He didn't materialize, or say much to the investigators. I mention this because, now that the doors were opened with Betty, through the abduction and hypnosis, spirits seemed to like coming around.
This scripture comes to mind.
Matthew 12:43 - 45:
"When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. Then it says, `I will return to the person I came from.' So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and clean. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation."
http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&c=12&t=NLT#43
In any event, the investigators' questioning of the new entity led them nowhere.
Chapter 11 is more or less a wrap up of the abduction event. Not much worth noting there.
Page 180 (chpt 11) - They note that Betty had read books and articles on UFOs. A key feature though, is that some of her case coincides with cases that hadn't been published. Could this have opened the door for her to have experiences? Possibly.
Page 181 - One interesting thing the investigators said.
"Regarding the bird and the voice, our attitudes varied: this segment was a nonrelated vision instigated by Betty's own religious beliefs; this episode was a programmed vision induced by the entities; it could have been a staged, symbolic (yet physical) initiation rite as descried by Betty; it was a deliberate deception on the part of the aliens to make human beings believe in a UFO/religion connection. And Lastly, perhaps there was a possible link between UFOs and religion."
It's frustrating reading this book, because the investigators get so close, so many times, yet walk right past the truth. In any event, the above explanations are plausible, some partially, and perhaps some could tie into the religious aspect. Rest assured, this and other UFO experiences are quite likely demonic in origin and Joe Jordan has hundreds of case studies proving that abduction can be stopped by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Joe's theory does no take into account the possiblity of physical abductions, and there are undoubtedly some, but for now let's keep focused on the spiritual side of things.
Zipping along to Chapter 12.
Page 186 - 187 - Betty seems to have acquired some limited psychic ability (always demonic in origin) and received flashes of insight here and there about various things. She also describes a light being she saw at some point. Her house, and hers alone also experienced power failures for no reason.
2 Corinthians 11:14 - 15
But I am not surprised! Even Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder his servants can also do it by pretending to be godly ministers. In the end they will get every bit of punishment their wicked deeds deserve.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=2Cr&c=11&t=NLT#14
Page 188 - Betty was reading her Bible, and felt the sense of being watched. She looked up to see what can only be described as a demonic being, or possibly a nephilim. Red hair and eyebrows, black eyes, the whole works. He looked ordinary except the eyes. This was in the early 60's well before her investigation had started.
Another instance had her daughter Becky screaming after seeing an orb of light. After this, she was able to perform "automatic writing" in strange symbols.
There were a number of other things that the investigators brought up, but the next thing of special interest comes from the epilogue. It seems that time had passed an Betty was divorced (something common with abductees) and met a new man, Bob Luca. Without totally throwing Bob under the bus, he was apparently a Rosicrucian, further opening Betty's world into the occult.
Page 198 - After a number of phone calls from an "angry hornet voice" that were likely the beings, Betty reflects that "she had made a choice to serve the alien creatures. Now she wanted to break this bond, but there seemed to be no way to break this bond."
Betty later finds that two of her sons were killed in an auto accident. This was within 24 hours of hearing a telphone call from strange mechanical voices. (During her investigation, one of the investigators had suffered a heart attack.) Fowler notes that the death toll for this investigation was now four.
Page 200 - Betty "was convinced that the alien voice on the phone was that of a fallen or evil angel who hinted at - or caused - the tragic deaths of her sons."
Then her investigators again poo poo her faith, and get into what LA Marzulli calls "the alien gospel." That is, our ancestors were stupid and thought advanced technology was supernatural powers. (thanks Arthur C CLarke for giving us that lie.)
Page 202 - Fowler asked deliberate reliogous questions at one point.
"Raymond Fowler - Have they anything to do with what we call the second coming of Christ?
Betty -They definitely do.
RF - When is this going to occur?
B - It is not for them to tell you
RF - Do they know?
B - They know the Master is getting ready, and very close.
RF - But do they know the date?
B - No.
RF - Who does know the date?
B - The Father"
Contrast this with:
Matthew 24:36
"However, no one knows the day or the hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows."
It is interesting to note that the entities were truthful this time. Why? Did they fear losing credibility? Who can say? Perhaps they told a small truth to help Betty, Fowler, and people swallow the larger lie that they were really aliens.
Finishing the book now, I see no obvious reasons why Betty endured this. The book lists her family, and there was no obvious connection with abduction or occult things in her family history. I'm not sure how this will go, but perhaps I can try to ask her family if there's anything that wasn't written about in the book.
In the final pages of the Andreasson Affair, Betty mentions an extra entity came into her house when she was abducted. She described this entity as a cloud, or a "shade." I don't know that I make much of this other than perhaps that was the demon, and the aliens were just illusion. That is pure speculation on my part.
So, what does this all mean? I stick to the theory that Betty Andreasson was abducted by demonic entities and was taken (perhaps physicaly, perhaps not) on this crazy journey. There were multiple times when the truth about Jesus Christ's power over these beings nearly came forth, but for some reason or another, the spirits were never tested. http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=1Jo&c=4&v=1&t=NLT
1 John 4:1 -
Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.
This is the way to find out if they have the Spirit of God: If a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ became a human being, that person has the Spirit of God.
If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come into the world, and he is already here.
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won your fight with these false prophets, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
And at no point were the entities rebuked in the name and authority of Jesus Christ, nor did Betty repent that she had given them a foothold into her life. Again, this is no disrespect to Betty, but rather shows the state of the modern church. We are sadly ignorant of our spiritual authority when we are in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
I myself have been victim of this. I believe there was a time when I was an immature Christian that I was under demonic oppression, and I did nothing to stop it. I had no idea what was going on.
Know this, that if you experience abduction, ask Jesus Christ for help, and get Him to come into your life as Lord and Savior ASAP. Ask Him to close the doors, and show you with the Holy Spirit what you need to do to stop them, and He will show you.
Peace in Christ.

The Tables Have Turned: Betty Andreasson's Abductors Hint at Their Evil Origins
So having left off around page 87 of “The Andreasson Affair”, let’s pick up again. Page 88 has Betty giving her opinions of the bird to her investigators. Mainly, she insist that it was alive, and that she was hot. She mentions “specks of gold” floating all around, which is an interesting link to the New Apostolic Reformation. I recall in a Podcast Derek Gilbert mentioning this phenomena in conjunction with a lot of the NAR’s supernatural (and heretical) goings on. Betty’s investigators confirm that Betty’s story up until the bird episode was right on target with a typical close encounter of the third kind. Ray Fowler affirmed that to Betty this bird thing was as real as the rest of the abduction.
Page 90 – 93 – Betty, Ray and the other investigators discuss the religious aspects of her experience. She described a greenish sea that was also clear. (Interesting to note, I believe Revelation describes a sea of glass near God’s throne EXCEPT that the sea near the true God is CLEAR and free of imperfection. A green sea implies some sort of impurity and possibly a mockery of the Lord’s throne room.)
Betty emphasizes that she felt intense emotions, she believes it was the love of Christ. Fowler seems to want to ascribe all of this to a religious experience. His theory was that Betty was compensating for an “alien” abduction by assigning religious symbolism to the experience. His main problem with that is that the phoenix is not a modern Christian symbol, but an old one. (It was from here that I probably got the theory about the phoenix, but then again, it’s fairly self evident that’s what it was supposed to be)
Betty also connected the bird symbol on the alien uniforms to an Inca Indian symbol. It seemed to serve as a sort of insignia, probably denoting the grey’s loyalty to this bird being.
From page 93 to around 104, it’s basically a description of her journey back to the ship, and it’s more or less a reverse of her trip there. On page 104, Betty remarked that the beings were kinder to her after mentioning Jesus, and when she was in these glass chairs that were full of liquid.
Page 109 -111 – Quazgaa has once again come to Betty, and he stares at her apparently hypnotizing her. Betty describes that his face has become like a bee’s face. I find this interesting. I don’t know why, perhaps it’s because Judd Burton has described some of the giants as speaking with a sort of buzzing or insect like sound. Also, other abductees report insectoid “aliens” during abductions, for whatever that is worth.
Apparently as Quazgaa speaks with her telepathically, he apparently is giving her formulas, presumably scientific ones. What these formulas are for, Betty doesn’t say. Quazgaa also states that he’s come to help the human race, which is a common element in abductions. Quazgaa also states that “All things have been planned” and that “love is greatest of all.” This is interesting because 1) it sounds like a good thing, and 2) there is just enough Biblical truth there for it to sound right. The catch is, this creature does not give that glory to God or Jesus Christ. Christ said that love is one of the greatest things a person an do. And the Bible affirms that God has planned everything from start to finish. This lack of praise to God betrays the “alien’s” loyalties.
Q also says that “They have technology that man could use…It is through the spirit, but man will not search out that portion.” (page 111) This is something that comes up later in Betty’s case, in the “Watchers” book. What does this mean? Does this mean that there is a spiritual “technology”? Is Quazgaa lying? Or is he trying goad mankind into searching for a “spiritual technology” so that we will open up ways for the demonic to enter our world? I can’t say, but I wouldn’t rule out any of them at this point.
Quazgaa also suggests that mankind will find many answers in nature, in fire, and basically the natural world. This is true to a point, all creation declares the glory of God. But what Quazgaa seems to be suggesting is some sort of New Agey kind of spiritual pursuit of “spiritual technology.”
One could argue that mankind has pursued that before. There are rumors that the Nazis tried to develop technology from channeled (aka, demonic) information. Some of the contactees (UFO) of the 1950’s also received plans for technology from “aliens” and tried to build it. Quazgaa finishes by saying that energy is all around man, again a New Age concept like Chi, or The Force of Star Wars.
Some quick thoughts about all of this, is that he’s just trying to make Betty feel special, the way many trapped in the New Age are led on by these beings. Often times when one is enthralled by familiar spirits, they lead one to believe that they are gifted and chosen for a specific purpose. This is needless to say, a great confidence boost. For more on this sort of thing, search out Lynn Dickie’s testimony, or that of Gaz Parker. Gaz also may cover some of that on his blog (http://newagedeception.wordpress.com/)
Over the next number of pages, Betty described more things about the UFO, and the evening. Her investigators were frothing at the mount for any information they could hear that would prove an ET visitation. They wanted to check weather reports, and it even came to light that the grass in a certain section of Betty’s yard would no longer grow. This does seem to imply that Betty was physically taken somewhere, though it is absolutely impossible to be 100% sure. Also, Betty was left with Quazgaa’s blue book, which she was supposed to read, and eventually it disappeared. Oddly, the entities at this point are also using these glowing orbs for various reasons. My thoughts are that it’s for paralysis, or even just for show.
Page 120 – Betty is told by “Joohop” that the contents of the blue book will only be revealed through the spirit. Joohop said that it is “the language of light.” For those familiar with Lynn DIckie’s testimony, or LA Marzulli’s “Alien Interviews” know that Lynn was able to write in “light language” which was given to her by the beings she was in contact with. Suffice it to say, Lynn repented of this and chose to follow Christ. When she did so, the “friendly alien beings” she was in contact with showed their true colors and turned absolutely nasty.
Betty asks Joohop why man does not seek love, and Joohop gives her a half truth, “man has separated himself.” Joohop uses this to support perhaps a dualistic theology, but of course stops short of saying that man has separated himself from God, and can only be restored through faith in Jesus Christ. For beings that are supposed to have no knowledge of human religion, they sure have strong theological opinions and a knowledge of the human condition.
Page 124 – Betty recounts how the grass on the hill where the UFO was, was unable to grow grass.
Page 125 – 126 - Betty recalls how she was warned away from using hypnosis because it was “in the occult realm.” Oh, how true that is Betty. She also described how she felt better before God for having searched out UFO investigators to help her figure things out. In an ideal word she would have rebuked the entities in the first place, failing that, she should have went to a competent deliverance minister to get help. Sadly, those are probably in short supply back then as they are now.
This is where the abduction event itself seems to end. From this point on, in chapter 9, there is a quite interesting turn of events that to me proves this whole episode is demonic. The door to the occult had been thrown wide open, and the demons were flying through it with reckless abandon. For starters, on of the UFO investigators had a heart attack and died. That could be coincidence, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there had been some sort of demonic thing that happened to him. The next thing that confirms this theory is that Betty began speaking in unknown languages as though some was speaking THROUGH her. She also seemed to begin acting as a channeler at this point.
So stay tuned. The proof is in the pudding, and desert’s almost served! If there hasn’t already been enough proof of demonic involvement with Betty Andreasson’s case, you’ll see even more soon.

Boy it's Hot. Is it me, or just the Phoenix?: Betty Andreasson's Bogus Journey part 5
Betty Andreasson had just asked Jesus to help her, presumably to do something about the heat that she was suffering from. As soon as she asked for help, the bird disappeared and where it had stood was a small fire.
Page 84 – 85 – The fire burned down, became embers and then somehow turned into a “thick, claylike worm.”
Before continuing on, what in the world just happened? Notice the parallels to a certain bird known as, the phoenix. Take a look at this traditional example of the phoenix.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_(mythology)
"Let us consider that wonderful sign [of the resurrection] which takes place in Eastern lands, that is, in Arabia and the countries round about. There is a certain bird which is called a phoenix. This is the only one of its kind, and lives five hundred years. And when the time of its dissolution draws near that it must die, it builds itself a nest of frankincense, and myrrh, and other spices, into which, when the time is fulfilled, it enters and dies. But as the flesh decays a certain kind of worm is produced, which, being nourished by the juices of the dead bird, brings forth feathers. Then, when it has acquired strength, it takes up that nest in which are the bones of its parent, and bearing these it passes from the land of Arabia into Egypt, to the city called Heliopolis. And, in open day, flying in the sight of all men, it places them on the altar of the sun, and having done this, hastens back to its former abode. The priests then inspect the registers of the dates, and find that it has returned exactly as the five hundredth year was completed."
Not 100% match, but enough parallels that I am sure it’s safe to assume that’s what the scoop is.
So, in essence, it seems that Betty had stood before a phoenix and suffered from intense heat. She asked Jesus for help, and then watched the bird go through the typical lifecycle of a phoenix including the worm aspect. Shortly after this Betty hears a voice that she believes to be God, but I would suggest is not. First, God more than likely would not appear as a phoenix. I would like to think that if He did appear to Betty after the phoenix went away, He would have appeared 1) as Jesus, 2) been less vague 3) would have taken her fear away instantly.
All of God’s appearances in the Bible have been in a Humanoid form, or that of a cloud. Exodus God leads Israel as a pillar of cloud or fire, and when the prophets encountered Him, it was typically God appearing more or less in a man-shape.
Not to mention that when people stand before the Lord, they usually faint as though dead, not complain about how hot it is. Also, God typically has mercy and allows the person who’s “as dead” to stand and be in His presence. He takes away the fear, and He keeps people from falling dead again. Here are a couple appearances, if you really want to see more of God appearing in the Bible, just go read the Bible. I am sad to admit that I can’t name off every physical appearance of God in the Bible. The Lord does make a number of personal appearances in the Old Testament, and is revealed through Jesus in the New Testament. When He appears post-resurrection, it’s as Jesus Christ telling people specific things.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Exd&c=19&t=NLT#18
Exodus 19:18 - All Mount Sinai was covered with smoke because the LORD had descended on it in the form of fire. The smoke billowed into the sky like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain shook with a violent earthquake.
Ezekiel 1:26 – 2:1 – 2 http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Eze&c=1&t=NLT&q=Ezekiel
26 - Above the surface over their heads was what looked like a throne made of blue sapphire. And high above this throne was a figure whose appearance was like that of a man.
27 - From his waist up, he looked like gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from his waist down, he looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor.
28 - All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining through the clouds. This was the way the glory of the LORD appeared to me. When I saw it, I fell face down in the dust, and I heard someone's voice speaking to me.
2:1 – “Stand up, son of man," said the voice. "I want to speak with you."
2:2 - The Spirit came into me as he spoke and set me on my feet. I listened carefully to his words.
Additionally, now that Christ has been revealed, the only way we can encounter the Father is through His son, Jesus Christ. Here are a couple scriptures to consider.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=have+seen+the+Father&t=NLT&sf=5
John 5:37 - And the Father himself has also testified about me. You have never heard his voice or seen him face to face,
John 6:46 - Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only I, who was sent from God, have seen him.)
John 14:9 – "Philip, don't you even yet know who I am, even after all the time I have been with you? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking to see him?
This makes it pretty exclusive as to who has access to the Father, and that is Christ alone. The only way you and I have any right to visit the Father is because of what Christ accomplished.
So, back to the bird. Even though the phoenix seems to have some Christian parallels and was even adopted by the Catholic Church and some Christians, it is steeped in pagan origins. How fitting, since many other “Christian” symbols and holidays have similar sources.
The phoenix pops up in a number of cultures. What I hope to demonstrate here is somewhat superficial, but I think should help support that the phoenix keeps some dubious company. Also, the pagan cosmologies are somewhat confusing, perhaps deliberately, so I would like to point out in my research I ran into contradictions about certain beings. Example, the bennu bird is identified as one thing, and another. There are also sometimes multiple sun gods for one cosmology. Egypt seems to have had several sun gods, and some have connected certain gods to each other, whereas those connections have not always been there. So, with that in mind, take a look at some of the interesting connections that the phoenix shares.
Egypt is often recognized as one of the first to have a phoenix like bird.
(www.mythicalrealm.com/creatures/phoenix.html) In Egypt, the equivalent of the phoenix is recognized as the bennu. Basically, it’s a heron-esque bird that also is essentially the heart/soul of their sun god Ra. Interestingly, the bird was also considered to be a manifestation of Osiris, post-resurrection. I believe that Peter Goodgame (one of my Future Quake heroes, http://www.redmoonrising.org/) has connected Osiris to the Antichrist, as has Tom Horn in his 2012 book. I haven’t looked at it too much, as they’ve done a much more thorough job than I could hope to. So, the bird appears to be the manifestation of a being that has been identified as a possible antichrist. Also, as something to do with the sun god, Ra. For more on Osiris, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osiris. Interestingly, that links him to Ptah, which is the name of an entity that allegedly contact Billy Meier (controversial UFO figure) when he was a child. He also had contact with Semjase, whose name is oh so similar to the Semjaza in the Book of Enoch.
Next, in Hindu mythology, the phoenix equivalent is essentially the bird-man mount of Vishnu. It’s name is Garuda (oddly garuda is a species of birdman creature in China Mieville’s novels). I believe my (link to it) posting on Buddha the destroyer covered Vishnu’s connection to the Antichrist. Garuda (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garuda) Garuda doesn’t seem to be equated to Vishnu, so phoenixes are again connected in some way to an antichrist figure. The fact that the Hindu phoenix flies around a character who is equitable to the Antichrist does not bode well for the true motives of any phoenix appearing to anyone.
Now, it seems as best as I can figure, Vishnu is sometimes a sun god. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vishnu. The phoenix flies him around. Ra is a sun god also, and he is linked to the phoenix. So, who’s another sun god? Apollo, That’s right, the entity identified in Revelation as the Antichrist. It appears that as a sun god, he’s equivalent to Helios as well. And, apparently, Helios had a relationship with the phoenix as well.
“According to the Greek mythology the phoenix lived in Phoenicia next to a well. At dawn, it bathed in the water of the well, and the Greek sun-god Helios stopped his chariot (the sun) in order to listen to its song.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_(mythology)
Phoenixes, though good on the surface, appear to have some connections with the one who will be revealed to be the most evil being of all.
So, am I saying that Betty was abducted by “aliens” and then brought to the Antichrist? Not necessarily. First, we know that The Antichrist is in the Abyss, until he is loosed upon the earth. More than likely, Betty would not be able to leave the Abyss once drawn into it. Second, This is more than likely “the spirit of antichrist” in the sense that he (Bible quote) has gone out into the world. This phoenix bird she saw was in all likelihood a servant of The Antichrist.
I wanted to dig into this part more deeply, because for a long time, I was thinking, “did she really meet with God?” This caused me a lot of questions, and caused me to fear criticizing her case, or the entity she stood before, or even what happens to her later. It also made me think that these were real aliens, as I knew that spirits had to obey Christ’s authority. So a Christian lady getting abducted and being helpless posed a lot of questions for me. As I am going through this book, I can definitely see the Lord showing me more and more of the truth little by little.
With this background in place, let’s continue a bit further with Betty’s abduction, and her talk with what she thinks is God.
Page 86 – 87 – Betty describes a few things after the phoenix takes a hike, then hears a voice from her right. What she hears seems to be pretty standard New Age fare. Very vague, yet spiritual sounding. You can hear this sort of thing from just about every channeler or someone who follows the New Age. Betty asked the voice what it had chosen her for.
“‘I have chosen you to show the world.’ (being)
‘Are you God?’ Betty asked with wonder in her voice. ‘Are you the Lord God?’ (betty)
‘I shall show you as your time goes by.’
Quite standard, the spirits vaguely say that an individual is special, or chosen, and then they nearly always leave it at that and say something like, “we’ll show you later.” The spirits also tend to like placing the blame on us humans, saying things like “we’re not ready,” or it’s not the right time. Anyways, back to the story, some time passes, and Betty picks up again.
“‘Are you my Lord Jesus? I would recognize my Lord Jesus.’ Oh it says – “I love you. God is love, and I love you.’ …
‘Why was I brought here?’ Betty asked again.
‘Because I have chosen you.’
‘Why won’t you tell me why and what for?’”
‘The time is not yet. It shall come. That which you have faith in, that which you trust.’
Betty defensively claimed her Christian faith: ‘It is true. I have faith in God, and I have faith in Jesus Christ. Praise God, praise God, praise God…I have faith in Jesus Christ.’
‘We know, child,’ the voice answered. ‘We know child, that you do. That is why you have been chosen. I am sending you back now. Fear not…Be of comfort. Your own fear makes you feel these things. I can release you, but you must release yourself of that fear through my son…’
‘Oh, praise God, praise God, praise God! [Crying] Thank you Lord!’”
She then thanked the voice for his son, which she assumed was God and that she was thanking Him for Jesus.
Of course Betty’s mistake here, again is not testing the spirits, that is asking them if Jesus Christ had come in the flesh. She also did not rebuke them in Christ’s name, or command them to do anything else. True to form also, the entity did not properly identify itself, nor did it give her a satisfactory answer. If you’ve ever read any channelings, you’ll recognize that this exchange looks very familiar. If you’ve never read any, don’t waste your time. If you want to read messages from a higher power, read the Bible. That’s from the highest power there is, God. He loves you, and that’s His message to you.
Something disturbing in the above exchange comes to mind from page 87.
"Betty defensively claimed her Christian faith: ‘It is true. I have faith in God, and I have faith in Jesus Christ. Praise God, praise God, praise God…I have faith in Jesus Christ.’
‘We know, child,’ the voice answered. ‘We know child, that you do. That is why you have been chosen."
The “aliens” chose her because of her faith in Jesus Christ. The question is, why? Several possibilities come to mind.
1) They knew she wouldn’t test the spirits.
2) They knew that if they could get away with abducting a Christian, that this would make it appear that even Christians are powerless against “aliens”
3) They made this up on the fly to cover their butts about Jesus’ power over them.
Lastly, this “through my son” business is disturbing as well. I am not sure what to make of it at the moment, other than I don’t believe they were talking about Christ.
To wrap up, the phoenix entity that Betty spoke with, in all likelihood was not something that was of God. There are too many occult connections with the phoenix for it to be anything but demonic. Not to mention, that God always appears in a consistent manner throughout all of the Bible. Usually in a man-like appearance, or a cloud. He also made Himself know to us through His son Jesus. God also makes His people unafraid within a very short amount of time, and tells His people very specific things. He is never vague or elusive. The being Betty met did nothing to comfort her, it made her suffer intense heat and did not take initiative to relieve her. The messages she received were also extremely vague and did nothing to glorify Jesus Christ.
Next time, Betty returns home, and her investigators debrief. There may be some lag time between posts, so stay tuned. I have a few other projects going on, and sadly this will be a little harder to work on in the next few weeks. If there’s too long of a space, I will post again.
Peace, and may Jesus Christ come into your life if He’s not already part of it.

Goodness Gracious, Great Birds of Fire: Betty Andreasson's Journey into Mystery
My theories:
1) It's just a good, run of the mill special effects hoax. By multiple people from different angles.
2) It's a hologram/"real" physical phenomena projected by terrestrial parties unknown.
3) It's just a run of the mill demonic UFO prank.
I would hesitate to guess that this is of God, though it is tempting. But Christ Himself said that He Himself was coming, not as an orb of light. And that many would say, Christ is here, or there, but really they would not actually be Him. So, suffice it to say, I think this thing is not of God but that is my opinion. When God makes Himself known to us again, it will be through His Son, Jesus and will be alot less mysterious than this. Nevertheless, we must be watchful and ready for Jesus to return at ANY time.
OK, now as Derek and Sharon Gilbert always say, "Get out your tin foil hats."
Now, back to Betty Andreasson. I've been reading deeper into her case, and finally finished the abduction as it was documented, and there is some clear cut demonic stuff coming up. Then there's also a wrap up of the case, chock full of UFO propaganda, then some assorted treats here and there. Almost done with the book though, and we'll see where God leads me.
Page 75 - Betty has just finished describing a city in this place of green atmosphere. Here she saw an odd shaped pyramid with a hermaphroditic head upon it, which was Egyptian in nature. Betty drew a picture of crystals that were floating in the air. She described (presumably) a futuristic city in the distance. For several pages, she just described various things she saw or felt, many of which are interesting, but not that important.
Page 77 - 80 - Betty is taken through the crystals in some way, and into the presence of a gigantic bird. Betty became extremely hot as she got close to the bird. She complained about the heat, and then they had to stop her hypnosis. They debriefed her, and Betty elaborated on some things.
One, which I might have brought up before, is that the greys wore black hoods. Many people who have sleep paralysis report black hooded beings. Whether these are related, it's difficult to say.
Second, Betty told the investigators that she thought she had been taken out of the earth, but then also felt that she was INSIDE the earth. Now, did she mean a cavern inside the earth? Or did she mean that the earth was hollow? (see my "Hell" posting as well) Absurd as it is, many believe the earth is hollow. Jim Wilhelmson (sp?) has a great theory and rationale for it. I haven't checked out his scripture references, but it's interesting. (Before getting too deep into his stuff, please do your scripture homework. Right or wrong, my own feeling on him is that he goes into some weird territory. Maybe that's where God wants him, I don't know.)
Edgar Rice Burruoghs has something like six books that take place at the Earth's Core, in the land of Pellucidar. Many occult beliefs claim the earth is hollow. I believe the Nazis were on of these, and there are likely others as well. Some Native Americans believe they entered this present world through a cavern. Where were they before?
The Bible does say there are people under the earth, but whether this means in the center, or merely in underground lairs is debatable. The point is, taking God's word literally, there are people UNDER the earth.

Revelation 5
http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Rev&c=5&t=NLT#1 (two references)
My theory is that they were referring prophetically to a time when people could make bases under the earth, but probably also meant the fallen angels that were chained under the earth.
So whether Betty was taken to an underground bunker, to the center of the earth or something in between, it's not out of the realm of what I think God's word clearly says.
Chapter 6
Page 83 - 85 - Betty, once again hypnotized, finds herself before this giant bird. Her description seems similar to an average bald eagle, and behind it is a very white, bright light. The bird is apparently alive, of this, Betty is absolutely sure.
An interesting note, Betty also described that there were "gold specks" flying around. This is an interesting note, because any who have heard Derek Gilbert talk about dominionism have heard him mention this phenomena before. Todd Bentley (and similar false teachers) have this phenomena occuring when they have their spiritual "shows" going on. Bentley (I believe) is reportedly in constant contact with angels, and they allegedly materialize things in his services. There is also a mention of people getting gold teeth and what not. Whether that's pure charlatanism on Bentley's part, or a real supernatural "false sign"is again debatable. Just a curious note.
Then, finally...Betty does the right thing.
"Betty Cried out for help and writhed in agony.
Oh, Lord Jesus, I'm hot. Help me. oh...I'm so hot!...
At this point Betty began to scream in pain.
Take me out of it!"
After this, her hands go numb, and her hands and feet vibrate. In hypnosis, she relaxed and she began to cool down, though her hands hurt. Then she noticed that there was a small fire in front of her. The bird apparently had been consumed by the fire!
Now, the first time I had read this, I was confused. After hearing Joe Jordan, and other state that abductions can be stopped in the name of Jesus Christ, they typically stopped immediately, and tthe person awoke, unharmed in their beds. This did not seem to be the case with Betty. If she asked Jesus for help, why did she not return? Were Joe Jordan and others wrong?
But then as I've thought about it, prayed about, and asked God for wisdom, a few things come to mind. First, Betty was suffering due to tremendous heat, presumably originating from the large bird. She asked Jesus for help, and immediately it seems that she was relieved from the heat, and the bird was presumably consumed by fire. She was still undergoing some discomfort, but she was delivered from that which she needed to be saved from. Her abduction did not stop, but this bird entity was more or less disintegrated. Very likely this bird was an illusion, or an alternate form for a demon/fallen angel.
Second. Betty was returned to her home, not long after this. But first, she had to travel back the way she had come. Perhaps this abduction could not be stopped because she had physically been brought elsewhere. For them to bring her back, and stop the abduction, they would have had to physically bring her back.
Third, Betty's relationship with Christ at this point was very likely blocked by sin. Her sin being that she more or less willingly went along with these beings, when she should have tested the spirits. It is also possible that they had opened her third eye, and potentially used reiki on her thus separating her further from God. Until these were repented of, and until she asked Christ to close those doors, she was potentially separated from God's power by her unconfessed sin. It is also possible she had other sin in her life, and this also prevented her from counting on Christ's authority.
See Acts 8:21 - 23. This scripture was pointed out I believe by Russ Dizdar as an indicator for unanswered prayer. If you're not right with God, your prayers MAY not get answered.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Act&c=8&v=1&t=NLT#comm/21
Fourth, she asked Jesus for help. She did not rebuke these entities in His name. She did not specifically ask Jesus for anything other than (seemingly) to do something about the discomfort. Unfortunately, she didn't have sense enough (not that I blame her entirely, she had been greatly deceived and bedazzled) to see that this worked, why not try to ask/rely on Jesus for complete deliverance from this episode?
To wrap things up:
I would have to honestly say that the modern church has not equipped most of us for the realities of spirtual warfare. My early Christian walk would have found me perhaps trying to cast them out in Christ's name, but I wasn't quite up on the exact way to do it. Then, after several years in Churches, some occult interests and little spiritual warfare experience, I would have been hard pressed to think straight.
Five years ago, I may have gone along just as Betty had, and I read my Bible regularly, ye thad little clue of the authority I had in Jesus Christ. Apart from Him, there is none, but having been identified with His death and resurrection, we get to partake of His authority to destroy the works of the devil.
If you are suffering from abduction experiences, you can make them stop by accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior, and getting into a right relationship with Him. Then, when the beings come, ask Christ for help, and if you can talk (or think), tell (or think) them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. Also read Ephesians 6:12, and make sure you have confessed all sin to God and asked forgiveness. Don't get taken along for a ride like Betty did.
Next time: What happend to the bird? Who/what was the bird? What happened to Betty next?
